Barry Levinson, a true pioneer in seeing what’s to come, within the outdoor and sports space.
I have worked with Barry multiple times over the years, on web design, marketing and graphic projects. Beyond his technical skills, the reason why I so often rely on Barry’s work is that he understands quickly what I want to communicate, and has a great sense of creating the energy and the excitement that capture people’s attention.
Barry’s international outdoor experience comes through in his work on our Valbruna Travel website and his understanding of products and marketing shines in the work he has done with many brands I represented over the years, from Dolomite to Colmar and Parajumpers.
Barry Levinson is a unique individual. I had the opportunity to work for Barry early in my career. And with him on numerous projects in the years since.
I’ve learned so many valuable things from him. Over a long career founded on his passion for our industry he has created his own brand and helped other global high end brands find their voice. He understands the ski and outdoor industry better than anyone I know.  He gets the ethos behind our industry.
He has unbelievable drive and passion for everything he does. When it comes to understanding design marketing and branding no one does it better.
I have known Barry for many years since he ran the American operations for our company Torstai OY (Club A) ski and sportswear, building the brand to prominence in the global ski media, sponsorship of the US Freestyle Ski Team, sponsorship of the legendary ski films the “Blizzard of Aahhhs” and “License to Thrill” and most importantly with widespread distribution of the brand in hundreds of top retailers across the United States.
In later years I followed him as he worked with many leading international brands and again with me when he sold our HALTI skiwear brands Club and Teams collections through his company Ski Racing Development (SYNC Performance). His sales and marketing skills and design strategy expertise have been applied to many global brands from Bogner to Spyder and many others utilizing has passion, connections and experience.
