    Biography

    You might know me as Outside Magazine’s Gear Guy, a title I have held for over a decade, but I have also been quietly copy writing since my daughter was born seven years ago. On top of being one of the most prolific gear writers in the outdoor space—I have worked with clients ranging from military contractors, to NGOs, to one of the largest medical device companies in the world. I am driven by delivering thoughtful, creative, work and I maintain the same work ethic I have had since coming up as an intern at a kayaking vertical (RIP Paddler Mag).
