Denis Faye

Writing

Denis has played dozens of roles over the years. Fresh out of the University of California, Santa Barbara, he relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where he briefly flirted with a career in advertising before settling into life as a surfer and freelance journalist covering technology, food, and the outdoors for Wired, Outside, The New York Times, Men’s Health, Men’s Journal, and others.

After taking a year off to backpack around Europe, he returned to Los Angeles, where he transition into an executive role at the fitness company Beachbody, guided the creation of nutrition and culinary programs and content, including the P90X series and Portion Fix.

After twenty years, he left the corporate world and moved to a 200-year-old farm in rural France, where he raises chickens, follows the Tour de France, and consults on content creation and development for nutrition, health, and wellness companies.

Denis is an extraordinarily talented writer. It’s always an inspiring and creative process when collaborating with him. His knowledge, wit, and passion for fitness and nutrition always exceed any and all of my expectations. I feel lucky to know him, and have him as a writing partner and friend.

Creator, P90X

Denis has a great approach to nutrition. He keeps himself educated, which is very important in that field. It’s great to work with him since he is very aware of the concerns that a vegetarian like me may have while being very active with intense and endurance cycling.
