Biography
I was introduced to rock climbing and photography while growing up in La Jolla, CA. My family connection to the climbing community dates back to Yosemite’s Camp 4 in the 1970s, which inspires a deep appreciation for the culture of outdoor mountain sports. Embracing world travel, climbing, and visual arts has rewarded me with a life of abundant friendships and collaborations that I gratefully build upon everyday.
In the early 2000s, I made climbing videos while bouldering in the Eastern Sierras and British Columbia, and sport climbing in Nevada and Utah. These experiences ignited my passion for camera adventures, and motivated a career in filmmaking. In 2015, I established Frosting, a Los Angeles-based stills and motion picture production company (www.frosting.LA).
Today, as a director, cinematographer, and photographer, I passionately engage creative opportunities in outdoor sports, fashion, and expeditionary travel. As an award winning film producer, I’m committed to the successful execution of emotionally authentic collaborations between creative professionals, performers, athletes, and world-renowned brands and studios that share my passion for multi-media story telling and live action cinema.
